Secondsight, the employee benefits communication expert, announces its partnership with BSM to install and communicate its new pension scheme to its 370 employees throughout the UK.
BSM, which has a network of 94 retail centres from Inverness to Truro and teaches more than 130,000 learners a year, is investing heavily in its future .The rollout of the new pension also coincides with BSM’s new four-year car deal with Fiat, where Fiat will be providing over 14,000 tuition cars, most being the award-winning Fiat 500 – Car of the Year 2008 – along with the popular Grande Punto model.
The pension communication exercise conducted by Secondsight will take place from the beginning of October 2009. 200 employees based at its retail centres across the country will be offered an individual telephone meeting with a financial adviser to discuss their pension. The remainder, including contact centre staff at its Bristol headquarters, will each attend a Group Pension Presentation and will be offered an individual meeting, should they wish to join the scheme. The exercise is expected to last four weeks.
Helen Robinson, HR Manager at BSM comments:
‘We consider this to be a fantastic opportunity for our colleagues to increase their awareness of pensions and to better understand the importance of financial planning, particularly during a period of economic downturn. We are making a financial commitment to our colleagues by improving the pension offering but also want to ensure they have a really positive experience and provide them with a really great foundation for their financial future.
Ultimately, we want to make BSM an employer of choice and improving the pension is one step in the process of achieving this goal. All in all, this is a good time for those working at BSM’.
