In this month’s edition, we catch up with our Senior Client Experience Executive, Vanessa Lake, who has been with Secondsight for 7 years.

Hi Vanessa, so tell us what is your job title and what does your role include?
I am a Senior Client Experience Executive and am the main contact for our corporate clients for their Workplace Pension schemes.

How long have you been at Secondsight for?
I have been with Secondsight for 7 years!

Describe a typical day in the office (or home office) for you?
My job encompasses many aspects of helping our corporate clients. From arranging advice days and presentations for their employees, to more technical payroll support and running clients’ complete auto enrolment assessment process means no day is the same. In between this is helping with queries about clients workplace pensions.

How do you prefer to start your day?
With a cup of tea! Earl Grey if possible!

What is one work-related accomplishment that you are really proud of?
Being nominated and winning our staff recognition ‘Superstarrrrs’ Shining star – client service award. But also, being part of a pitch for a client that we won!

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
There wasn’t anything particular, I changed my mind every week!

And finally, what would you say is your favourite thing about working at Secondsight?
The people!
