Sally Read-Cayton, an adviser at our Parent Company, Foster Denovo is representing Great Britain in the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) World Championships this weekend.

Sally was the only Brit to qualify for the IAAF World Championships in the first event of its kind, a race for women aged 50+ 400m. Sally achieved this by recording one of the top 10 times for the 400m of all  women aged 50+ throughout the world.

Sally credits her ability to continue to compete to great support from her family and her employer.

“I love my job, and working with a range of clients and supporting them with the financial planning decisions. It can be very demanding, but it is very rewarding.

“My employer – Foster Denovo – is providing sponsorship to help me cover the travel costs to Beijing in August. They have allowed me to work flexibly around both my training and my family. This is a tremendous help and enables me to focus and achieve a great deal in my day – employers like this are not so easy to come by.”
